ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has summoned a high-level meeting on Wednesday to discuss the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP).
He had stated that militants were mistaken and that the entire nation was united against terrorism and fully backed all actions and activities that were conducted against them by the security forces.
PM Nawaz had also said that the sacrifices rendered by the people of Quetta would not go to waste and the perpetrators of the attack would be dealt with strictly. During the meeting that was held on Tuesday regarding the NAP, Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security Naseer Janjua briefed the PM about the soft targets used by militants.
Federal Minister for Interior Affairs Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had also briefed the prime minister about the NAP and its implementation as well as the future steps that would be taken in that regard.
The prime minister had called for a meeting on Wednesday to further discuss the implementation of the Nap. Sources also revealed that the prime minister was expected to address the National Assembly also on Wednesday.
